Get prepared to start your own CNA school. Join our engaging one on one seminar where we will help you prepare your state-required elements for your CNA School. You will come to Atlanta, Georgia for 3 days while I walk you step by step through all your states paperwork. Topics will be: Students Handbook, Nursing Home Contract, Curriculum, Lesson Plans, Operational Forms, Syllabus, and more. This seminar will be completely hands-on.
You MUST bring a laptop to gain the most benefit from the subject matter. When you leave you will have all elements of your application prepared for submission.
This seminar includes the following:
- Hotel accommodations for two nights.
- Write your curriculum/lesson plans for the CNA curriculum per the Federal and state guidelines.
- Understand how to write and implement a curriculum considering the different teaching types: psychomotor, cognitive, and affective.
- Will write and complete a student handbook with policies and procedures.
- Will gain access to resources needed to open a CNA school per local and state regulations.
- Will develop required forms needed to operate a CNA program: instructor evaluation, attendance, nursing home contract, etc.
- Will gain access and learn how to use FREE adjunct teaching resources needed to operate CNA programs.
- Complete course outline/syllabus.
- Tips on how to obtain a contract with a nursing home.
- Q and A session from someone who has experience in opening a CNA school.
- BONUS: Breakfast, Lunch, and snacks will be provided on day one.

No. This course is an 8 hour CE course. Afterward, we only ask that you complete the evaluation for us to turn into ANCC. Remember you get 8 CEUs after completion.
Yes, afterward you will receive a certificate of completion. You can use this certificate to turn into the state along with your resume and nursing license to become an approved CNA Instructor.
This depends heavily on the state. Our classes are state-specific because each state has different regulations for CNA trainers. Some states require a specific amount of hours of training for a nurse to teach CNA’s. You should check with the governing bodies of the states you would like to transfer between to be sure. In order to use this certificate to teach CNA’s, you must teach at an approved CNA school. The certificate you receive after this course will be submitted to the state under the program you plan to teach for and then and only then will you become an approved CNA instructor. All CNA instructors MUST be affiliated with an approved school.
If you are in the virtual class, all you need is your computer, word, and excel. If you attend in-person training, you can bring. paper and pan for notes. If you like, you can bring your computer as well to follow along.
No. This course is meant to develop your skills as an instructor to effectively teach the curriculum and work in an approved CNA school. Many states require instructors to take a Train the Trainer course to be qualified to teach. Starting a CNA school is a much larger endeavor. You have options! You can use this education to apply to work for a nursing home-based CNA school, a technical school CNA program, or you can start your own CNA program. Many employers will require this education as it is a federal standard. Once you have the certificate, you can submit it along with your résumé and nursing license to be approved as a CNA instructor under an existing or new CNA program.
